Lucy must have known the night was a busy one because she took a super long nap!
Kate was anxious and excited for the German-Elf to come visit! But she knew the rules:
A) We had to leave the house,
B) We had to go to a good act of service,
C) We had to see the lights, and then...
The German-Elf would come!

So we grabbed our friends Allyson & Ryan and we were off! We went to read the Christmas story, we saw the lights of Christmas Street, and then saw another new Christmas Street we discovered this year. Then we door bell ditched a sweet family of 2 little girls with a whole garbage bag full of gifts. (seeing their faces was priceless!! I would highly reccomend it!) We rocked out in the car while munching on trail mix and sipping down some apple juice...it was a classic, fun evening.
Kate was loving having her Uncle Ry and Aunt Al with her!
We made it home, and sure enough: The German-Elf had come!!

Lucy and Kate are getting so big. They are sure darling little ones, who are really missed.
The girls are growing so fast, I will not know them when I see them in May. Sure do miss holding them
