is our 'do list' shrinking, or growing??

Friday night: We took a break from our house and celebrated our nephew's birthday. Happy birthday Al! We went to our favorite BBQ spot up the canyon and enjoyed ourselves. Like always, Kate was a happy little bear cub. We are glad she loves to be outdoors so much! (I think she almost craves it! PRAISE be!)

Saturday: Kate and I stayed home during the AM to get some things done around the condo. Then, off to our house we went to take Papa some lunch!

We stopped in the front room to sneak a photo, and then off to find daddy...

Kate was extastic to see not only daddy, but also Uncle Frank, and Theo working in HER room! Sweet! Her's will surely be the first room done. Lucky girl, miss Kate!

Our House Accomplishments this week/weekend:

* Kate's room taped

* Master upstairs taped

*Hallway ceiling textured (thanks boys!)
* Kate's room of plaster walls: sealed

* Living room windows and floor: taped

* All upstairs walls: patched and sanded

* Doors ready for spraying

The H A R D E S T part about working on our house is being away from our little bear cub. Oh how we LOVE her!
Luckily for us, she has great Grandma's who help watch over her. We came home late Saturday night and went to give her some kisses before we crashed for the night. The sweetie that she is, opened her eyes, smiled and "talked" to us for a few minutes before closing her eyes and continuing to sleep through the night....she's a gem, we are spoiled by her love.

Thanks love bug! You make us SO happy! Coming up this week: Primer, and paint!

AND.....Kate get's to meet 5 of her cousins this week!!! Plus, Aunt Anne and Uncle Edd....SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
