There once was this weekend of Joy.
Pure Joy.
Why?

My sweet neice Addison came to visit and my girlies (well, some of them...) were in town!
We had prayed for her, fasted for her, and only hoped for her for a very long time.
As an answer to so many prayers, a sweet, young, beautiful and selfless mom gave my best friend the greatest gift ever; the gift of adoption. I have never loved a stranger as strongly as I love Addi's birthmom. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
We loved having this sweet two week old baby to ourselves, but we knew we had to share! Many others wanted to see her too! So, a simple solution was a party to celebrate her birth! We opened up our house and invited some of our favorite people over, and naturally Addi was the guest of honor!

And we all enjoyed time in the backyard

That evening a few of us took off to another huge celebration; our pal Mel graduated with like 500 degree's. Okay...not 500, but two really hard ones. Congrats Mel! We love you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Addison is so sweet, and the GIRLS! Happy Day! I'm so sad I wasn't there, but so happy to see you all together!! (And please, tell me is, Ebeth wearing the infamous "flashing" coat from Ashley's wedding??) he he he.
