St. Patty's Day Airshow, bring it!

We woke up to a beautiful morning in Zion's National Canyon

It was St. Patrick's Day and Aunt Patsy's Birthday...

Happy Birthday Aunt Patsy!

If you ask the fam there's really no better way to celebrate a birthday than with Jets...

So, this day's for you Aunt Patsy!

We loaded up the car (and our green!) and headed to St. George.

 We were all pretty excited to see Jets!

We arrived, and found our cute family....Uncle Harold & Aunt Patsy and Cousins Doug & Chandler.

  

We took off walking around the airport checking out some of the jets.

  

Lucy is a huge jet fan....

(...nothing like two jet loving girls to make their daddy happy!)

 

 It was almost time for the big show, and naturally Lucy needed a nap.

 When Kate woke her up  she couldn't believe what she was about to miss!

 

She was thrilled at the day's sky....

 And so were we!

   Chris hails from a long line of Air Force Pilots. 

Very talented, respected, awarded pilots.

So it's no doubt that cute Chandler is following in the footsteps of her father, and grandfather...

 She looks like a pro already!

We can't wait until she's flying the #5

(And luckily for us the sweetie has promised us some rides!)

 There are lots of things that make this cute man happy.

Jet's certainly are high up on the list!

  We made it back to our hotel and almost crashed....

but first Kate ( or rather her daddy...) wanted to see the bears...

Yes, the Zion's National Forest Bears!!

Really??

Well, yes!

But, we settled for the ones at our hotel...

 We went back to our room, and big helper Kate washed her sister clean...

  And then before another bit of energy could possible be expressed, our little Kater-bug climbed up on Uncle Frank's bed and fell fast asleep. 

 

Her little mind certainly dreaming....

dreaming of Jets, of course!

And soon the rest of us were too!
