Oh Blessed Day!

On Sunday this sweet girl was blessed by her daddy and given the name,
Lucy Kyleah...

We are so happy to have this sweetheart in our family.
She is our calm, mellow, happy girl.
Everyone who has met Lucy has learned one simple trick;
If you want a Lucy smile, just look into her beautiful blue eyes and say, "Hi"
Really. It's that simple.
Ohhhhh, how we LOVE her!!

We spent the day celebrating our Lucy Goosey with friends and family.
Grandma & Grandpa D. came into town and we were so glad they were here.
Their kindness was greatly appreciated.
Grandma C. made Lucy's blessing dress with special material from my mom's wedding dress.
(Kate's blessing dress had special material from my wedding dress)
Then Grandma C. found some darling shoes that matched her dress perfectly! I finished off her outfit with a handmade headband and the girl was glamorous for her special day!

This day was special for Luc's but also for Uncle Frank; it's his birthday!
He was super nice to share his birthday with Lucy's blessing.
We all got together to feast after Lucy's blessing and then we partied it up and celebrated Frank's Birthday! Happy Birthday Franky Frank!

Lucy was awesome during her blessing and didn't cry once.
Kate screamed through hers, so we didn't know what to expect...
But this mellow girl didn't make a peep!
Oh Lucy! Thanks for being our special sweetie!
