Boat'tastic Adventure

We celebrated Lucy's 5 week birthday out on the water.

You're never to young to enjoy some quality boating, right?
...We did however, leave the ski's at home...give it a few years Luc :)

Grandpa knew mommy wouldn't let Luc on the boat without a life-jacket...

so he went and bought her one of her very own.
Thanks Grandpa Dunn!

Mommy was then worried how comfy Luc would be.....
Why worry? She snuggled right in and was ready to head out on the water.

(phew.... tough girl!)

Kate was quick to notice the train on the side of the mountain.
(Grandpa C would be proud...)

Since we couldn't ski, we gave fishing a shot
........no luck :(

So then we just sat back, relaxed and let the joy of being on the water sink in...

We also enjoyed some time on land. Kate found a cute little caterpillar who soon became her personal pet.

Kate then thought Lucy need an official welcome to "The Bus."
That meant she got to sit in the seat and honk the horn.
Obviously Lucy is not quite ready to drive...
she's already asleep at the wheel.
Not good.

The day was fun and the adventures grand! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Dunn! Glad you guys were in town for a visit!
Kate finished our day with a Creamie (a big fav),
and then a bath and story time. What a fun day!
