Saying goodbye is hard to do...

...Our sweet Delila...
Last week we lost someone very dear to us. My sweet Ome passed away.

This woman was simply amazing and the best Ome anyone could ever ask for! She loved deeply and honestly with her heart of gold. She held strong to her German roots, but luckily was only stubborn on the important things in life. She believed full-heartly in her faith to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but better yet, she proved that faith everyday by the way she lived her life. After loosing a husband in World War II she faced raising two young (very adventurous) boys on her own. She worked full-time as a mother, and as a provider and never doubted the love of the Lord. Many times she trusted the gospel when all else told her not too. Although, in the end, she knew her faith would carry her though, and sure enough....faith always prevails! :)
Thanks for being an awesome example Ome! Wir Lieben dich!!!
Although this news was hard for us to take on, two people helped soften the blow greatly! Hours after learning of Ome's passing, we also learned that two of our favorite Ohio pals were on a plane to Utah....
Our cute neice Isabella, and my big brother Flite
We all spent the weekend enjoying time together as a family and remembering our precious Ome....
MJ, Isabella, Tarina
Uncle Jerry, the pool shark of the fam, couldn't pass up the chance to beat us all in pool!
Isabella & Uncle Flint

Cousins, Marcus & Isabella

"She was simply a wonderful person who affected many people with her smile, kind words, love of life and sense of service. "
