We knew our 4th of July was off to a good start when we walked outside our door just in time to hear the "sound of freedom" fly directly over our house!

It was awesome! I wish I had my camera with me, but I found this one online and it pretty much sums up the beauty that we saw.

Let the day begin...

First thing, breakfast! Chris treated me to some yummy pastries to celebrate my 1/2 birthday, and our amazing freedoms.

Next up...family bbq's and pool parties!

Chris and I enjoyed an afternoon hanging out with the fam.

We also made another stop at our friends Clarisse & Ryan's party...but no photos from that. Sorry! After that we met up with the fam again for the holiday classic...fireworks!

Happy 4th of July! How grateful are we for the amazing freedoms that we enjoy!! What a wonderful blessing it is to be an American. We love it !
